Katalin Berenyi joins Clarins group

 
Katalin Berenyi joined the Clarins group as General Manager of the Clarins brand on February 1, 2019.
 
Of Hungarian descent, Katalin cut her teeth at Shu Uemura and then in the L’Oréal group for four years as VP Marketing, Head of International Operational Marketing, before becoming VP Marketing Travel Retail for the brands in the group’s Luxury division.
 
In 2007, Katalin flew the nest and co-founded the Korean beauty brand, Erborian. In July 2012, Erborian was acquired by the L'Occitane International group, where Katalin continued to preside as Creative Director of the L’Occitane and Erborian brands.
 
This brilliant international and entrepreneurial career won over brothers Christian and Olivier Courtin-Clarins, along with Jonathan Zrihen, CEO of Clarins group, when it came to the person to head its historic brand. “I’m delighted to welcome Katalin to the Clarins family,” stated Jonathan Zrihen. “Her experience in developing global brands, combined with her thorough knowledge of the Asian market, entrepreneurial spirit and passion for customer service, will be essential elements in Clarins’ development in the years ahead.”
