Thanks to two unique typology studies, the Clarins Research Laboratories have shown that psychological stress and a lack of sleep visibly accentuate 8 signs of ageing: dehydration, lack of tone, lack of radiance, uneven complexion, increase in size of pores, increase in fine lines and wrinkles, appearance of deep lines and signs of fatigue. Niacinamide, or vitamin B, a leading anti-ageing molecule known to boost collagen synthesis, which smooths early wrinkles, and enhance the skin’s texture is combined with organic sea holly extract, exclusive to Clarins. A state-of-the-art plant, organic sea holly extract is able to withstand conditions of extreme stress (dryness, wind, etc.). It supports cell renewal in the skin to help combat the thinning of the epidermis, and stimulates elastin synthesis for skin that’s more supple and toned.
Organic strawberry tree fruit extract, which helps to tighten pores, betaine with its plumping and hydrating action and the Clarins anti-pollution complex are added to complement the action of this ultra-powerful duo.

The Clarins Research Laboratories have incorporated two mood-boosting fragrances to reduce the impact of stress.
For day creams, they have chosen an energising fragrance that combines bergamot, lily of the valley and rose with a white flower base, which has been shown to reduce stress by 20%* from the first application. The effect even lasts 14 days after application.
For night creams, a more enveloping, soothing, floral fragrance made with rose, jasmine and iris combined with musk, cedar and amber notes is preferred. Once again, they have shown it to reduce stress by 25%** and improve sleep quality by 41%*** from the first application. The effect even lasts 14 days after application.
