The Business Solution Expert for Finance (Controlling):

1. Contributes to the detailed implementation of the solution
• Together with the BPO, IT partners, the Key users, contributes to the roll-out of the Core Model solution and to the transition period 
• Roll-out the Core model while minimizing the specific features for each Market / subsidiary
• For the local specificities related to legal and regulatory, contribute to formalize the detailed design and targeted business rules
• Working closely with IT Business Partners (internally or externally), precise/confirm rules in functional architecture definition
• Reports to BPO on project progression, identified risks and required arbitrations 
• Attends to project governance (weekly review, sprint review, …)

2. Actively participates to the configuration of the solution
• Contribute to configuring the solution
• Contribute to building reports / BI if specific requirements
• Prepare test cases, dataset for testing, and their documentation
• Execute test cases 
• Analyse and escalate identified issues
• Formalize testing results on project tools

3. Participates to the deployment of the solution 
• Identify and formalize the gaps between Core Model and subsidiaries environment, to prepare for the deployment.
• Control and validate data models for data migration, and migrated data
• Control and validate data integration
• Analyse and correct integration issue
• Participate to the change action: new procedures, training materials, knowledge transfer…
• Post go-live support

4. Controlling and Reporting (M3, Workday, Payroll)
• Foundation Data Model (FDM) mapping across systems that align to the Group’s Chart of Accounts (COA): Spend/ Revenue categories 
with P&L lines and Operational Report lines/ Payroll integration (cost centres, product segmentation, customer segmentation)
• Guide the countries in the definition of their allocation rules while respecting the Group management rules
• Provide the countries with a set of recommended files for reporting purposes, inclusive of performance reports, analytics, and dashboards
• Guide local teams to identify all files used by controlling team based on current CoA and analytical dimensions, that need to be adjusted 
in accordance with the Reboot Model: closing files, budget preparation files, daily accounting works, Excel macro, etc.
• Check alignment of analytical data between all systems (Hyperion, M3, WD, Payroll, …)
• Define clear job role mapping to the Reboot Core model and identify mitigating actions where relevant

The position:

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Controlling and as part of the ongoing financial structuring of the Clarins Group, we are looking for a Marketing Business Controller dedicated to Marketing expenses for the Clarins Brand.

The mission:

Clarins SAS Holding is divided into two areas:

1. Corporate (Support and Operations/Purchasing functions)
2. Clarins Brand (Marketing, Communication, Media, Product Development, etc.).

You will be in charge of Financial Controlling for the Clarins Brand.

You will lead all the Brand's budgetary processes (Budget, Revised):

• Building and monitoring the budgets of the various marketing departments in conjunction with the members of the Brand Management Committee;
• Analysing and optimising budget assumptions made by operational staff to ensure that they are consistent and reliable;
• Monitoring expenditure and warning of risks/opportunities compared with forecasts;
• Supporting, advising and challenging operational staff;
• Co-hosting the annual budget presentation to top management;
• Participating in drawing up the 3-year plan.

You will manage key financial processes:

• Managing monthly closings, analysing them and producing reports for operational staff and the Executive Committee:
  • Calculation of Brand provisions
  • Checking the consistency of the Brand's P&L in the ERP (Workday)
• Drawing up monthly reports for department managers and management;
• Drawing up monthly closing notes for Brand Management;
• Coordinating budget reporting schedules and distributing Group guidelines to the Brand Management Committee.

You will participate in the roll-out of the Group ERP within the Brand perimeter:

• Active participation in the roll-out of Workday (ERP) within Clarins SAS (Pilot entity) implemented since May 2022;

• Functional scope:
  • P2P (non-stock purchases)
  • Controlling (reporting)
• Support for operational staff during the transition phase from the old system to the new one;
• Proposing and disseminating good management practices identified by the jobholder from previous experience.

You will participate to Cross-functional optimisation projects

• Identify budget optimisation opportunities in certain clearly identified areas, in conjunction with the purchasing department and members of the Executive Committee;
• Improving the management of Rights of Use;
• Implement and ensure good controlling practices;
• Reviewing the projected profitability of Make-up launches;
• Participating in the introduction of new steering and decision-making tools (project dashboards, etc.) in a context of transformation;
• Ad hoc studie: studies of consultancy costs compared with projects to be carried out and changes in the wage bill, benchmarking of seminar costs, etc.

4. Order Management
•    Able to explain and follow through the process from order entry perspective : manually and from any satellite system (Sales Force Applications, e-Commerce website, EDI, POS systems, etc).
•    Understanding the topic of quotas (creation and maintenance), promotions, customer profiles, routes, and order prioritization is a prerequisite.
•    Ensuring the order validation process are respected within the Reboot core model : exceptions management, stock allocation and order release to the warehouse.
•    Participate in the integration of subsidiaries’ Sales Force Application, e-commerce website, order entry system (i.e. EDI) and POS systems.

Education & Experience:
•    Bachelor-degree holder or equivalent in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related discipline from a reputable university
•    Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience, preferable in established global MNC with retail or supply chain exposure
•    Excellent system knowledge including MS Excel, SAP, Workday, Infor M3, and/or Hyperion
•    Strong process and project management capabilities will be a plus
•    Experience in ERP deployment: Past involvement or exposure to developing/implementing new processes and new systems
•    Experience in working with multiple integration ERP will be a plus
•    Fluent English. Ability to communicate in one/two subsidiaries’ languages would be a big plus, even if the project language is English

THE ROLE:

The Business Controller, Asia-Pacific (Reporting & Analysis) is part of the APAC FP&A team supporting Singapore Regional Hub and our subsidiaries within APAC region (Australia & New Zealand, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Malaysia and Taiwan). This position is located in Singapore and will report to our APAC Financial Planning & Analysis Director (RFPAD). 
 
The Business Controller, Asia Pacific (Reporting & Analysis) is a key business partner, whose daily mission is to deliver added value to the regional organization through a rigorous controlling expertise angle and through a palette of studies. These studies are conducted to develop the business sustainably, give a clear vision of actual performance, identify the potential axis of improvements and accompany the decision makers with meaningful insights. 

Anticipation, analysis, communication and support are the essential pillars that structure the position towards the various regional departments and APAC subsidiaries in total compliance with regional and Group Strategy. 

As a regional pivot, they gather the relevant explanations on significant deviations versus Budget and prior year on a monthly basis, prepare meaningful and clear consolidated sum-ups and provide key commentaries to the regional management for decision making purposes. They also support the subsidiaries finance teams on controlling matters, ensuring the Group guidelines are correctly applied. 

Acting as the interface between finance functions and business stakeholders, the Business Controller, Asia Pacific has four distinct roles as per below:
•    Commentator: ability to explain the numbers, tell the business story in numbers, variance analysis, management report
•    Business Partner: focus on value creation, act as business advisor and integrator, provide insight, challenge decision making process
•    Scorekeeper : focus on book keeping, reconciliation, P&L management
•    Custodian : focus on governance and compliance, value protection, conscience of the business
 

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

1) Drive the APAC region consolidation, reporting & financial analysis on a monthly basis: 

On this part of the role, the perimeter extends to 9 markets for which the Business Controller, APAC will:

• Monitor the monthly reporting submissions from the markets and ensure timeous and complete submissions, acting as main contact point for APAC markets on their monthly reporting
• Review the actual reporting from the markets on a monthly basis and engage with the market FP&A team to obtain explanations for major variances and understand the main events each month 
• Strong business partnering is needed to be able to highlight and explain the gaps in actual versus Budget/Re-estimates as well as versus prior year to the various business stakeholders
• Prepare the consolidated monthly reporting decks with thorough analysis and comments
• The major focus will be on the monthly P&L reporting and analysis, along with the additional quarterly reporting including labour, inventories, purchases, capex etc. 
• Ad Hoc additional analyses are realized pro-actively to add relevancy to the comments and help regional/local decision making in corrective actions

2) Monitor APAC region budget & re-estimate process and prepare consolidated reporting & analysis
On this part of the role, the perimeter extends to 9 markets for which the Business Controller, APAC will:

• Work with RFPAD to establish the retro-planning of the region 
• Collaborate with regional departments to issue guidelines for the respective submissions e.g. HR, Digital, Supply Chain etc.
• Work on the pre-submission alignment with the markets in collaboration with RFPAD to ensure that final reporting is in line with approved expectations
• Monitor the Budget/Re-estimate process and follow-up closely with the local teams to ensure timeous submissions according to global and regional calendars
• Prepare the consolidated reporting for each budget cycle together with detailed analysis to understand the variances across the region (whether vs prior year or previous budget submission) 
• Again the major focus will be on the monthly P&L reporting and analysis, along with the additional quarterly reporting including labour, inventories, purchases, capex etc. 
• Assist the RFPAD in the preparation of the financial presentations to the Board. 

3) Work on value adding analyses
On this part of the role, the Business Controller, APAC will assist to gather information, perform relevant analyses and make recommendations to support business objectives, including:

• Continuous assessment of the financial risks and opportunities identifiable through the various analyses and meetings held with the different stakeholders
• Prepare the consolidated monthly risk and opportunities reporting along with relevant commentaries/ explanations
• Perform P&L benchmarking exercises between markets, determining key cost drivers and opportunities for efficiencies and leveraging of best practices
• Following seasonality of expenses and monitoring YTD/YTG spending and ambitions
• Other analyses as determined by business needs 

4) Coordination of FP&A regional support and guidance
This part of the role consists in promoting the Group FP&A standards and helping the different subsidiaries and regional departments understand how to apply them, along with working on:

• Advise the subsidiaries on reporting requirements and provide trainings FP&A topics as necessary
• Identify the gaps versus the Group standards and propose the adequate corrective actions
• Ensure all markets are applying Group rules in a consistent manner
• Review and enhance business operations and financial processes: constantly seeking value-adding and simplification of the processes currently in place
• Initiate & participate in process improvement projects to improve and standardize reporting and budgeting processes 

Other responsibilities may be added to the above, which are consistent with the title Business Controller, Asia Pacific (Reporting & Analysis), including involvement in internal audit topics; finance IT projects or take additional projects to lead the change in our Clarins organization.

YOU HAVE:

• A Degree in business related qualification (Accounting/Finance degree)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in with sizable companies preferably in the beauty, retail or FMCG industry ideally in the APAC region. Previous experience in Audit is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
• Display a high degree of responsibility, integrity, attentive to details with an investigative nature
• Must demonstrate strong analytical skills and ability to make sense of large sets of data with accuracy.
• Capacity to lead projects with stakeholders from various expertise background and cultures 
• Excellent communication skills with ability to explain financial concepts for non-financial collaborators
• Proactive, agile, committed and able to work independently
• Collaborative team member with strong interpersonal skills

Le poste :

Au sein d’une équipe de 5 personnes, vous assistez le Directeur fiscal groupe sur le périmètre France, en supervisant/établissant les déclarations fiscales, en représentant la direction fiscale sur les projets structurant du groupe sur le périmètre France, en étant l’interlocuteur privilégié des clients internes et en faisant le lien avec les conseils externes et commissaires aux comptes. La mission :

Les missions principales seront :

• Elaborer les déclarations fiscales en France en matière d'IS, TVA, CET, Impôts locaux et autres taxes, et apporter votre expertise en fiscalité française

Nous sommes à la recherche d’un/une Responsable Projets Finance Europe, poste basé à Paris 17ème.

Le poste :

Le/la Responsable de Projets Europe assure le rôle d’interface entre la Direction financière EMEA, les équipes du projet de transformation du backoffice appelé Reboot et du Skill Center, d’une part et les filiales, d’autre part dans le cadre du déploiement du Core Model de notre ERP pour le Groupe Clarins.

Ce rôle, essentiel au bon déroulement des déploiements dans la zone, doit:

- permettre une mise en application optimisée du Core Model au sein de la filiale,

- contraindre la prise en compte efficace des obligations locales (légales, fiscales et parfois commerciales) et

- favoriser la parfaite adhésion de l’entité déployée au change.

La mission :

Les missions principales seront les suivantes :

• Assurer un rôle clé afin d’accompagner le déploiement de la solution Reboot sur l’ensemble des streams de la Finance sur la zone Europe dans le respect du planning Reboot ;
• Aider les filiales à définir les besoins et les profils nécessaires en amont du déploiement ;

• Contribuer à la compréhension exhaustive des besoins marchés et des organisations ;

• Contribuer au bon déroulement de l’ensemble des phases de déploiement (selon la méthodologie) afin de faciliter la compréhension et l’adhésion de la filiale ;
• Participer aux exercices de DR0, DR1 et DR2 ;
• Assurer la coordination des activités entre les différents streams intervenants lors des déploiements ;
• Travailler en amont sur les Fit-gap, les sujets de change et contribuer avec le Directeur du déploiement Reboot et la Directrice du Contrôle Financier Europe à la réflexion de solutions pour répondre aux spécificités du pays liées aux obligations règlementaires ou à des enjeux business majeurs.
• Être un interlocuteur clé des filiales pour discerner, coordonner les points bloquants et travailler avec l’équipe déploiement Reboot et le Skill Center pour la résolution des questions. Communiquer avec les équipes de déploiement opérations sur des sujets communs opérations/finance
• Contribuer à la formalisation et à la mise en application des règles de fonctionnement du Core Model et des procédures mises en place dans le cadre des gaps ;
• Etablir un reporting de suivi des fit-gaps par filiale (notamment les gaps non retenus et les gaps annulés) ainsi que les actions de Change associées ;
• Organiser la création des rôles et autorisations, selon les règles de l’ERP RH (Grow) et du Core Model, de chaque filiale en adéquation avec les enjeux financiers et organisationnels de la filiale concernée ;
• Proposer des solutions applicables à la résolution des problèmes de change management ;
• Assurer la bonne compréhension et la correcte application des méthodes du Core Model à travers l’utilisation du User’s guide. Contribuer à l’enrichissement de cet User’s guide ;
• Contribuer au possible enrichissement du Core Model par les propositions de bonnes pratiques.
• S’assurer des besoins filiales et région pour la mise en place d’un BI efficiente et d’un outil central de pilotage.

Vous êtes :

• Rigueur, sens de l’organisation
• Très bonnes capacités d’analyse et de synthèse
• Très bon relationnel
• Capacité à challenger et influencer positivement des interlocuteurs de tous niveaux
• Aisance dans les interactions transverses en mode matriciel
• Bonne résistance au stress
• Capacité au management et au développement d’une équipe composée principalement de collaborateurs cadres

Vous apportez :

• Une formation supérieure type Bac+5 profil ingénieur, école de commerce ou université avec spécialisation Finance, Contrôle de gestion, Audit
• Une expérience réussie de 10 ans minimum sur des problématiques de contrôle de Gestion opérationnel
• Une expérience en gestion de projet fortement est recommandée
• Excellentes compétences analytiques
• Excellente maîtrise des outils informatiques de gestion de données (Excel)
• Bonne connaissance des ERP (M3, JDE) et des outils d’extraction et mise en forme de données (Cognos, Planning Analytics, Qlik, datamart) souhaitée
• Niveau d’anglais courant

• Du erstellst Soll-Ist Auswertungen und Analysen inklusive der monatlichen Überprüfung der Abweichungen zum Budget bzw. zum Vorjahr
• Du bringst dich bei dem Aufbau eines Business-Partner-Controllings ein und treibst den Ansatz mit voran
• Du bist verantwortlich für die Erstellung von Kostenstellen-Auswertungen
• Du erarbeitest und präsentierst Entscheidungsgrundlagen für die Geschäftsführung und die französische Muttergesellschaft
• Zudem kannst du dich in Sonderprojekte wie beispielsweise die ERP-System-Umstellung auf WORKDAY einbringen

DAS BRINGST DU MIT:

• Du hast ein abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Betriebswirtschaft (Schwerpunkte: Finance, Rechnungswesen, Steuern, Controlling) oder einschlägige vergleichbare Weiterbildung im Bereich Controlling (z.B. Controller Akademie)
• Du konntest bereits mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im operativen Controlling sammeln
• Du hast solide Grundkenntnisse in IFRS sowie in der Finanzbuchhaltung

Nous sommes à la recherche d’un.e Chef de Projet Pricing / Invoicing, poste basé à Paris 17ème.

Le poste :

En tant que membre clé de l'équipe Opérations du programme REBOOT (programme de transformation globale des processus et systèmes d’information du back-office de Clarins), le/la Chef de projet Pricing & Invoicing fait partie de l'équipe en charge de la conception, de l’implémentation et du déploiement de la solution de Gestion Commerciale dans les entités du Groupe Clarins.

Il/elle apporte et acquiert une connaissance détaillée des processus liés à la gestion des prix et de la facturation dans le cadre de la gestion commerciale, et de leur traduction dans le système d'information du point de vue utilisateur.

Aujourd’hui en plein de phase déploiement du projet , un Core Model de fonctionnalités standards et vitales, est construit dans l’ERP Infor M3 et déployé par vagues dans nos filiales.

Il/elle s'assure que la solution construite est déployée conformément aux spécifications détaillées qu’il/elle contribue à écrire, et s’inscrit dans les fonctionnalités standard de M3.

Il/elle s'assure aussi que la solution fournie est robuste et testée de manière approfondie pour chaque filiale.   

Le poste est ouvert au siège de Clarins à Paris.

La mission :

Les missions principales du Chef de Projet Pricing/Invoicing seront :

1. Etre garant de la solution

• En collaboration avec le BPO, les SMEs et les parties prenantes, il est garant du core model
• Affine / enrichit la conception détaillée et les règles business associées, conformément à l'objectif défini, et contribue à leur formalisation
• Travaille en étroite collaboration avec les équipes IT, précise et valide les règles de gestion dans la définition fonctionnelle de WRICEF
• Décrit les "users stories" , et s'assure qu'elles sont intégrées dans les outils de gestion de projet
• Maintient le « product backlog » quotidiennement
• Communique au BPO l'avancement du projet, les risques identifiés et les arbitrages éventuels requis
• Participe à la vie du projet (revue, rétrospective, conception du sprint...)

2. Participer activement à l'élaboration de la solution

• Contribue à la configuration de la solution
• Teste et valide les développements additionnels réalisés par l’IT en cours de projet
• Contribue à la stratégie de test et prépare des cas de test en conséquence
• Prépare les ensembles de données pour les tests et les documente
• Exécute les cahiers de test
• Analyse et fait remonter les problèmes identifiés
• Formalise les résultats des tests

3. Préparer le déploiement de la solution dans les filiales

• Identifie et documente les écarts entre les processus du Core Model et les processus en place au sein des entités du Groupe Clarins, afin de préparer le déploiement
• Soutient les utilisateurs clés en matière d'extraction et de nettoyage des données
• Contribue à la stratégie relative à la migration des données
• Contrôle et valide l'intégration des données
• Analyse et corrige les erreurs d’intégration de données

Vous êtes :

• Doté.e de fortes capacités d'analyse et de solides compétences relationnelles
• Très à l’aise en matière de planification et d'organisation de projet
• Attentif.ve aux détails
• Autonome et motivé.e
• Agile, humble, digne de confiance et avez l'esprit d'équipe
• En mesure de faire face à un environnement volatil, incertain, complexe et ambigu

Vous apportez :

• Un diplôme de niveau Bac+5: école d’ingénieur ou de commerce
• Une expérience professionnelle en lien avec la gestion commerciale ou de travail en équipe projet serait un plus
• Une Bonne maitrise des outils bureautiques du Pack Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Une expérience de l’ERP Infor M3 serait très appréciée
• Un niveau d’anglais courant (langue de travail majoritaire) et la maitrise de la langue française serait un plus (poste basé au siège en France)
