Manage General Ledger (GL) accounting and HFM reporting
- Manage General Ledger (GL) accounting and HFM reporting, which may include but not limited to bank, fixed assets, inventory, leases, contracts, payroll and local tax filings, ensuring that financial data is accurately and completely captured in a timely manner and in compliance with all stipulated deadlines and R2R KPIs;
- Prepare and monitor the monthly accruals, provisions and adjustment journals for all business channels;
- Reconcile and monitor the clearing / netting of GL accounts to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data;
- Ensure that intercompany transactions are tracked and matched with intercompany partners (including but not limited to recharge invoices, settlements, payment on behalf, and accruals); and
- Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules and relevant reports for Senior Manager’s review.
Represent Corporate Finance APAC as R2R key user
- Work closely with relevant stakeholders to address and resolve any blocking issues, ensuring that system interface problems and auto postings are properly integrated and fully resolved;
- Recommend best practice to end users across APAC Region and follow through from conception to completion; and
- Assist with the implementation and enhancement of systems, including system testing, monitoring efficiency gains or losses, and supporting other process improvement projects.
Build good working relationship with internal and external stakeholders
- Liaise with internal parties and external parties such as auditors, corporate secretary and government authorities whenever required.
Compliance and business process excellence
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
Others
- Take on new portfolio and provide support for any other initiatives and ad hoc tasks as assigned.
You Have:
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting/Finance
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience, ideally in a renowned global FMCG company within the Luxury Retail or Beauty & Cosmetics industry;
- Good working knowledge of IFRS and Singapore Tax;
- Prior experience in Audit/Tax firms will be an added advantage.
- Proficient in accounting & business intelligence software (e.g. MS Office, Power Automate, Power Desktop, JDE, Infor M3, Workday, Cognos, and/or Hyperion).

The Internship will begin July 2025 and last for a minimum of 6 months. The intern will be full-time (35hrs/week). International students welcome to apply!
The role:
You will support the FP&A team by providing the business with analysis and insights in order to drive informed decisions to reach out financial goals and ensure the long-term stability and profitability of the business.
What you’ll do:
In an environment where everything is fast-paced, you will contribue to all 5 pillars of the group strategy: people-centric, brand-builder, consumer-obsessed, digitally minded, and commited to responsible beauty. You will be a contributor in managing the P&L and providing support to the business working mainly on the E-Commerce, CRM, and media scope. You will help improve financial performance and assist in instilling a ROI mindset within the organization.
- Assist the FP&A team with monthly sales and P&L reporting, analysis, and planning.
- Provide support to business partners through the monthly actuals and budgeting processes.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights to finance and business teams. Extract and analyze data from multiple datasets.
- Drive continuous improvement through developing and maintaining reports and processes.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and other tasks as needed.
You Are:
- Able to quickly learn new systems and tools.

- Prior experience in a financial role

FINANCIAL PLANNING AND ANALYSIS – BUDGETING AND STRATEGY
- Process owner of the budget cycle (Budget N+1 and bi-annual revisions) as well as for the year-long reporting (actuals) in order to provide the EVP South East Asia, APAC FP&A Director and all stakeholders with a proper objective framework and instant performance picture.
- He/She provides guidance, coordination and consolidation on all FP&A matters, allowing for quality variation analysis in a timely fashion with the businesses and regional teams to produce monthly reporting and define necessary corrective actions.
- Forges an independent opinion of the financial statements, allowing for clear cut risk and opportunities assessment, alongside with constructive and innovative financial advice on any business matters. Protects the value at any given time allowing to deliver a landing within set budget framework boundaries.
- Assists management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction.
REPORTING EXCELLENCE AND VALUE ADDED TO THE BUSINESS
- Constantly reviews business operations and financial processes, identifies needs to support stakeholders and focuses on strengthening financial intelligence to serve business growth.
- Partners with Singapore Domestic and Agents Teams to gather their insights related to the business performance and proposes improvements in the operational processes to ensure compliance and agility to the organization.
- Ability to simplify esoteric financial information to develop a collective sense of financial responsibilities across departments.
- Rigorously aims at improving work productivity and reporting efficiency.
- Aims at maintaining communication dynamics among stakeholders, finds the right measures and reporting format for the business.
- Organizes regular overall financial review (involving all stakeholders) or punctually targeted audience meetings (specific launch, P&L line focus, geographic zone…) always aiming at empowering collective ownership and management decision-making.
GETTING THE BASICS RIGHT – TIME MANAGEMENT & TOOLING
- Enables the timely processing of transactions, ongoing coding education, and accruals spread management and expense tracker alignment to produce the closest to reality MTD/YTD P&L upload possible.
- Facilitates books closing in the most effective and timely manner to allow qualitative time for variation analysis and dialogue.
- Financial dashboard custodian ensures about the collective responsibility to maintain constant information feed while improving sustainability, simplicity and accessibility. The dashboard encompasses the following reporting tools among others:
- Net invoicing by franchise and by channel of distribution
- Top line provisions follow up
- Expense Budget Tracker monitoring
- P&L by channel (e-commerce, retail, domestic) with focus on cost allocation
- P&L by customer
- A&P investments and COGS mix tracking
- Price structure and retail coefficient by type of product
- Forecast valorization and S&OP finance KPIs
- Billing price management
- ROI analysis (e.g. new boutiques opening)
- Sell in/Sell out trend comparison
- 3-year business plan update
OPTIMIZATION:
- Track the financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement.
- Embark stakeholders in a perpetual cost optimization journey in all business areas to reallocate financial means where leverage is.
- Partner with Supply Chain and Procurement authorities to engage dialogue and collective responsibility.
- Take an active role in constructively challenging forecast meetings and methodology ahead of S&OP sign-off meetings.
- Assist pricing/distributor margin determination to protect value despite external constraints (Competition, Forex, Retailers / Geographic Mix).
COMMUNICATION - EDUCATE, ENGAGE, CIRCULATE:
- Circulate tooling, methodologies across structures and exchange with Regional and Global counterparts for best practices inspiration.
- Permanently challenging the status quo, anticipate projections and invite to corrective actions thinking.
- Educate on “Why / How” tools implementation and maintain a documented system of working policies and procedures.
- Ensure tooling sustainability in accordance with team expectations and group internal audit recommendations.
- Understand, educate then ensure team’ adherence to internal finance regulation and local legislation compliance.
COLLABORATION TO SUPPORT LEGAL ENTITY AND APAC REPORTING:
- Provide inputs (e.g. numbers and comments) in relation to SEA markets to Regional APAC team for monthly and budget consolidation, including but not limited to Net Invoicing and P&L.
- Actively collaborates with Accounting team to ensure entries are correctly booked and comply with the Group analytical classification manual.
- Act as custodian for pricing maintenance in the system in relation to the Singapore Domestic/Agents business.
- Support in annual audit and tax for matters in relation to Singapore Domestic/Agents.
You Have:
- Business degree, technically skilled and mathematically inclined with an-all rounded business understanding and acumen
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in FP&A functions covering regional role for sizable companies preferably specialized in the beauty, retail or FMCG industry ideally in the APAC region.
- Display a high degree of responsibility, integrity, attentive to details with an investigative nature.
- Capacity to lead projects with stakeholders from various expertise background and cultures.
- Ability to clearly explain financial concepts in lay terms for non-financial collaborators.
- High level of initiative with an ability to commission, deploy and monitor effectiveness.
- People, Communication and Leadership skills with an ability to influence management.
- Time management efficiency and capable of prioritizing, ability to balance the demands of work with study commitments.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Workday, M3, Beaute Research, HFM and/or Cognos
- English Fluency while French speaking is a plus

DAS ERWARTET DICH:
Finanzen im Überblick: Du verantwortest den Zahlungsverkehr und das Cash Management für Deutschland und Österreich – von der Kontoauszugsverbuchung bis zur Liquiditätsüberwachung und Forecast-Erstellung
Zahlen auf die man bauen kann: Du erstellst Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresabschlüsse nach HGB, UGB und IFRS und bereitest relevante Reportings wie Cash-Report, Inventory-Report sowie Bilanzen vor
Prozesse neu denken: Du bringst dich aktiv in Projekte ein – insbesondere bei der Weiterentwicklung von Workday und treibst die Digitalisierung unserer Finanzprozesse mit voran
Bestände sicher steuern: Manuelle Lagerbewegungen buchst du sicher und zuverlässig, und sorgst dabei für die korrekte Bestandsführung zwischen ERP- und Warenwirtschaftssystem
Verlässliche:r Ansprechpartner.in: Du stehst im engen Austausch mit Steuerberater:innen, Wirtschaftsprüfer:innen und Banken und hältst alle Fäden in der Hand
DAS BRINGST DU MIT:
Must have:
- Du hast eine erfolgreich abgeschlossene kaufmännische oder vergleichbare Ausbildung oder ein Studium mit Schwerpunkt Finance/ Accounting
- Du bringst mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in der (Finanz-) Buchhaltung mit
- Du verfügst über Erfahrung mit ERP Systemen, idealerweise Workday
- Mit MS Office, insbesondere Excel, gehst du sicher und routiniert um
- Du arbeitest strukturiert, eigenständig und äußerst sorgfältig – ohne das große Ganze aus dem Blick zu verliere
- Du verfügst über fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
Nice to have:
- Erfahrung mit Workday ist ein Plus – aber kein Muss
- Eine Weiterbildung im Bereich Buchhaltung/Finanzbuchhaltung rundet dein Profil idealerweise ab

Accounts Payable Coordinator, Asia Pacific (12 Months Contract)

Do you want to help write the next chapter of our story? We are looking for an Accounts Payable Coordinator, APAC - based in Singapore.
The Accounts Payable Coordinator will support the Senior Executive and Executive in managing a portfolio of supplier master data. This role will be responsible for the Accounts Payable function, ensuring the timely and accurate validation of supplier invoices, compliance with IRAS requirements, and processing of expenses in accordance with company policies within the accounting system. The Accounts Payable Coordinator will provide support for both Singapore and Japan entities.
The successful candidate will be a dedicated team player with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability. They should be performance-driven, people-centric, have a positive and approachable personality, along with the agility to adapt to challenges in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
What you’ll do:
End-to-End Accounts Payable (AP) Management
- Manage the end-to-end Accounts Payables (AP) process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices, addressing all suppliers/payment-related queries, performing suppliers Statement of Account (SOA) reconciliations, handling Travel & Expense claims; and maintaining Suppliers Master Data for Singapore and Japan entities.
Supplier Master Data Management
- Maintain control over suppliers master data, ensuring data quality and accuracy. Provide guidance to requestors and counterparties throughout the master data management process. Manage suppliers onboarding in Basware, ensuring suppliers are properly registered and submit their invoices through the system.
Invoice Validation & Compliance
- Validate 3-way matched supplier invoices for completeness and accuracy, ensuring invoices are appropriately coded to the correct cost center, GL line, and tax code. Ensure compliance with IRAS standards and other regulatory requirements.
Travel & Expense Claim Processing
- Review and validate travel and expense claims to ensure compliance with company policies, and process reimbursements on scheduled.
Payment Processing & Transactions
- Manage payment proposals, settlement runs, and manual bank transactions (e.g., direct debits), ensuring accurate and timely processing.
Reconciliation & Monthly Closing
- Perform creditors’ reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and complete all AP-related tasks to meet monthly closing deadlines and reporting requirements
AP Communication & System Support
- Handle the AP generic email inbox, addressing supplier queries promptly. Support projects, system enhancements, and process improvements as assigned by management.
You Have:
• Diploma/Degree in Accounting/Finance
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience, preferably within an established global FMCG, beauty or retail industry
• Proficient in MS Excel and Word, experience with Workday and/or other ERP systems
• Hands-on, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Collaborative team player with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment
• Good interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
