Clarins group commits to digital inclusion

Since its founding, the Clarins Group has been committed to the inclusion of all its stakeholders, in particular by fighting against the exclusion of people with disabilities. First, in 1989 with the creation of the Fondation Arthritis by our founder, Jacques Courtin-Clarins, to make a real impact in research being conducted in the field of chronic inflammatory rheumatic diseases; then in 2021, with the launch of a global taskforce dedicated to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

In order to go further in our web accessibility and inclusion initiatives, we have chosen to equip our new corporate website with FACIL’iti, an innovative tool that allows us to adapt the display of our sites to the visual (visually impairment, cataract, color blindness…), motor (Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis…), or cognitive (dyslexia…) needs of our web users.

FACIL’iti is also intended for all people with temporary disorders (ophthalmic migraines, visual fatigue, night mode …), looking for comfort or a different adaptation to navigate independently.

Since 2017, some of our e-commerce sites are already equipped with this solution, totally free and anonymous for the Internet user, allowing us to fight against e-exclusion.

We are proud of this new action reinforcing our commitments to make life more beautiful, pass on a more beautiful planet.
