Clarins & Seeds of Beauty: Protecting biodiversity in Yunnan

In Yunnan, China, the Seeds of Beauty project continues to grow stronger year after year, bringing our commitment to biodiversity and ecosystem regeneration to life.

Our commitment to nature at Clarins is brought to life through concrete actions in favor of biodiversity and ecosystem regeneration. The Seeds of Beauty project in Yunnan (China) is a powerful illustration of this commitment and of our purpose: making life more beautiful, passing on a more beautiful planet.

Since its launch in 2011 in partnership with PUR, the Seeds of Beauty project has been designed to actively contribute to the regeneration of local ecosystems and the preservation of plant biodiversity. By the end of 2025, 174,000 trees have been planted in Yunnan, alongside over 762,640 medicinal plants, as well as 4,270 jin of seeds.

Beyond these figures, the strength of the Seeds of Beauty project lies in the engagement of our employees. Around the world, many team members have taken part in this initiative through planting programs. Since 2011, more than 1,069,319 trees have been planted worldwide.
