Do you want to help write the next chapter of our story? We are looking for a Senior Manager - Training, Asia Pacific, based in Singapore.

THE ROLE:

 

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Manager - Training, Asia Pacific with experience in luxury beauty or retail brands. This role is responsible for implementing training strategies to improve product knowledge, sales, and service across assigned markets (Greater China). The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, a deep understanding of luxury brand standards, and a passion for skincare and makeup.

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

 

  • Training Strategy Implementation:
    • Develop and execute training strategies to enhance product knowledge, sales, and service in assigned markets.
  • Support for Local Trainers:
    • Mentor, support, and elevate local Trainers to improve their skills in line with business needs.
  • Collaboration for Training Programs:
    • Partner with global and local teams to design and deliver comprehensive training programs covering various techniques, product knowledge, and industry trends, specifically in skincare and makeup.
  • Training Effectiveness Assessment:
    • Conduct regular assessments to measure the effectiveness of training programs, identify areas for improvement, and provide targeted training to enhance Beauty Coaches (BC) performance and productivity.
  • Reporting and Monitoring:
    • Monitor market status and progress and provide regular reports and follow-up action plans to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Digital Learning Content Development:
    • Work with local markets to adapt or develop digital learning content and design as necessary.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with product development and marketing departments to ensure training programs align with business objectives and market trends.
  • Representation at PR Events:
    • Act as the spokesperson for Clarins at PR events, representing the respective markets

 

Other responsibilities may be added to the above for the position of Senior Manager - Training, Asia Pacific.

YOU HAVE:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business & Marketing / Hospitality Management or other related fields
  • At least 8 years of Training experience, preferably in the Beauty, Luxury and / or Retail industry
  • A strong interest in the makeup and skincare industry, to tailor high quality training programs and makeup professionals' skills effectively
  • Prior experience with Greater China market exposure would be an advantage
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders with various expertise background and cultures, both face-to-fae and remotely
  • Strong communication (verbal & written) in both English & Mandarin, able to engage in clear communication of skincare & makeup concepts
  • A caring leader that inspires across departments and exposing his / her team members to elevate and promote collective successes
  • Able to commit to frequent business travel
