Do you want to help write the next chapter of our story? We are looking for a 12-month maternity leave cover for the role of E-Commerce Manager.

 

The Role:  

The E-Commerce Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive and accelerate Clarins’ Online presence through Direct to Consumer (DTC) businesses via the Australia & NZ Clarins websites. Their main objectives are to drive sales and generate brand awareness and buzz by leveraging digital assets, thanks to a strong acquisition & media strategy. 

 

Key Responsibilities:  

E-Commerce Sales:

  • Manage sales forecasting and drive the performance of ANZ E-Commerce sites to achieve sales targets, including defining strategy and 360 campaign planning
  • Regularly prepare E-Commerce reports and provide data-driven recommendations to improve metrics

 

E-Commerce Animations & Digital Merchandising Plan:

  • Plan and guide the team to execute online 360 animation plans (including promotions, emails, special offers, CRM, virtual services, paid media, and online media) in line with local market needs and competitors’ benchmarks.
  • Track and review demand planning by SKU, monitor and control products deliveries and returns in e-commerce warehouse, and provide 3PL order forecasting and upcoming promotional information for smooth delivery

 

Acquisition & Retention:

  • Lead the overall paid media planning and operations for ANZ, including buying, content strategy, overall campaign strategy, full funnel strategy, optimization, and reporting.
  • Oversea technical configuration of website to ensure content is aligned to local regulation and constantly monitor performance and optimisation opportunities
  • Collaborate with media agencies to improve e-commerce results and contents

 

Leadership:

  • Lead, develop, and mentor direct reports, support the team in delivering on KPIs and sales targets, and build and maintain effective relationships
  • Ensure the team is up to date on all products, services, and market trends.

 

You are:

You have:  

  • Minimum 5 years’ E-Commerce and Digital business experience, preferably in Consumer Goods/Beauty Industry
  • Experience in managing an E-Commerce P&L on Brand.com
  • Experience in managing media planning and digital agencies
  • Strong presentation skills with excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities
  • Knowledge of Demandware/Salesforce commerce cloud, or any other E-Commerce platform (essential)
  • Knowledge of key acquisition platforms for Search, Display, Social (Google, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram), and analytics (Google Analytics, Omniture, Tag Management Systems) (essential)
  • Experience with project/task management software systems, Agile methodology tools (Confluence/JIRA/Wiki) is a plus (essential)
