The role:

Support the Finance Manager with the accounting, business partnering and other regulatory requirements for Clarins UK Ltd and Clarins Distribution Ltd.


What you’ll do:

  • Support in the preparation of timely, complete, and accurate monthly and quarterly management accounts.
  • Support management decision making by providing variance analysis with commentary.
  • Completion of assigned monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Business Partnering with the Leadership team, Head of Departments, Payroll department and Travel Retail.  
  • Support with the preparation of the statutory accounts and dealing with queries arising from the year-end audit.
  • Supporting the Financial Accountant with the preparation of the Corporation tax return by analysing spend
  • Suggest and implement improvements to ways of working.
  • Prepare Office for National Statistics enquiries.
  • Any other ad hoc reporting.

You are:

  • Competent management information systems user (Hyperion, ERM package, Cognos).
  • Open, approachable and methodical.
  • An advanced Excel user.


You have:

  • Essential – CIMA, ACA, ACCA part qualified and studying towards qualification.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in accounting role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate common sense and work independently.
