The Role
We are currently seeking a Financial Accountant to join the Clarins team! This role is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract opportunity.
This role is responsible for end-to-end accounting functions with a considerable focus on supporting the Accounts Payable function of Clarins ANZ.
The successful candidate will display sound technical knowledge, and be a team player, with the ability to partner with stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Reconcile balance sheets and manage inter-company accounts.
Prepare cash flow projections and monitor main operating accounts daily.
Compile monthly management reports for Clarins as needed.
Collect and analyse data for regular estimates, including accruals and provisions.
Prepare and post month-end journals along with other month-end tasks.
Ensure all reporting requirements are met in HFM.
Prepare and submit tax documents, including FBT and BAS lodgements (as needed).
Support statutory reporting requirements, including year-end financial audits, income tax filings, and statistical reports.
Support the Financial Controller with ad-hoc tasks as required.
Manage Accounts Payable (AP), including:
Manage supplier relationships – liaise with international and local vendors, set up new suppliers, and maintain accurate records.
Process and reconcile invoices – match invoices to purchase orders, ensure timely approvals, and resolve discrepancies.
Ensure smooth payments – prepare and process EFT files, handle expense claims, and reconcile corporate cards.
Support financial accuracy – maintain AP ledgers, reconcile accounts, and assist with end-of-month tasks.
