Mugler announces a collaboration with ECAL

The Mugler House unveils an exclusive artistic collaboration with ECAL/University of Art and Design Lausanne, an establishment regularly ranked among the top 10 art and design schools in the world.

Last September, during a workshop led by photographer Philippe Jarrigeon, Mugler provided the Bachelor in Photography students of ECAL with 20 pieces from its exceptional archives. With the help of stylist Victoire Simmoney and make-up artist Kathy Le Sant, these young talents helps shed a new light on Mugler’s heritage.

The photographic and video works of the students have then been carefully curated by Casey Cadwallader, Mugler’s new Creative Director, who was very impressed with their quality.

I want to set up a new culture around Mugler, one that opens a constant exchange with many different disciplines, and especially art. It was a pleasure to have been able to give the students of ECAL the opportunity to reinterpret the incredible heritage of Mugler, which they have done with talent and audacity. This project is the first of a series of collaborations between Mugler and young artists”, claimed Casey Cadwallader, Mugler’s Creative Director.

Works from Cynthia Amman, Luna Conte, Théa Giglio, Lucie Deluz, Guillaume Lamarre, Hugo Plagnard, Charlotte Tronchot and Eliott Villars are visible on Mugler and ECAL’s social platforms and websites since May.
